Dark circles affect both women and men, often starting in young adulthood. It is not unusual to develop this discoloration even if you get plenty of sleep each night. Why? Because fatigue isn’t the only reason for under-eye circles. What appears to be under-eye circles are sometimes just shadows cast by puffy eyelids or the hollow under your eyes. Both of these things can develop as part of the normal aging process.

What causes dark circles?
